1. Mai 2018 · I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Dropbox software (no early version, just v 48.4.58. I've changed the Dropbox folder name and then changed it back again. "Connecting" spins with no connection. Preferences > Accounts shows I'm not logged in under any ID, but when I click "sign in" the platform box just disappears - nothing happens.
21. Nov. 2022 · Reinstall does not help. I'm receiving email "A new Android device just signed in to your Dropbox account bla-bla" every time after I try to login. Confirming "it's me", nothing changes, still no success. I'm able to use dropbox via web on this phone or on other devices, problems only with this particular phone app.

15. Nov. 2023 · It appears if you choose to share a file with the file open, for whatever reason, dropbox will prompt a view to create a login/ to login. But if you are looking at a list of files and choose to share the file with the share icon, then it may work.
