Clogs biography CLOGS were formed in the late nineties as a project by a group of Yale University music students. The group consists of an eclectic blend of artists from Ohio, Michigan, Vermont and Australia, the band's music combines classical and folk arrangements with exquisite acoustic instrumentation and delicate vocal harmonies.

Clogs. Clogs are Padma Newsome, Bryce Dessner, Rachael Elliott and Thomas Kozumplik. They met in the late-90s while studying at the Yale School of Music. Newsome started his career as a concert violinist in the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, before a six-year detour took him to an ashram in the remote region of New South Wales.
