Actor/Actress. Manu Bennett. Crixus is a central character in the Spartacus series. He is a former Champion of Capua, introduced into Batiatus' ludus as a slave desiring the life of a gladiator, who eventually fights his way up to become one of the top gladiators of the ludus.
Crixus, auch Krixos, († 72 v. Chr.) war einer der Anführer der Sklaven im Dritten Sklavenkrieg (auch bekannt als Spartacus -Aufstand). Vermutlich war Crixus Gallier. Sein Name wurde aus dem Gallischen als „Der Lockenköpfige“ interpretiert. Es wird vermutet, dass er für die Allobroger gegen die Römer gekämpft habe.
