Katherine A. Schellenbach (born January 5, 1966) is an American musician and television producer. She is the drummer of Luscious Jackson and was a founding drummer of Beastie Boys.
Best known for her band, Luscious Jackson, Kate Schellenbach was also the drummer for the Beastie Boys when they were a hardcore punk outfit. Luscious Jackson, for those unfamiliar, combined elements of hip-hop, jazz, and rock to create a sound all their own, but they disbanded at the end of the 1990’s.
Zwischen 2009 und 2011 produzierte sie 239 Folgen der Late-Night-Show von George Lopez. Von 2015 bis 2021 war sie Produzentin der The Late Late Show with James Corden. In einer Folge im März 2021 sprang sie in der Liveband ein, als der eigentliche Schlagzeuger verhindert war.
