Spartacus is a Starz television series that focuses on the historical figure of Spartacus, a Thracian gladiator who, from 73 to 71 BC, led a major slave uprising against the Roman Republic. Executive produced by Steven S. DeKnight and Rob Tapert, the show focuses on the events of Spartacus's early life leading to his recorded history.
