Vanderbilt University Law School (also known as VLS) is the law school of Vanderbilt University. Established in 1874, it is one of the oldest law schools in the southern United States. Vanderbilt Law enrolls approximately 640 students, with each entering Juris Doctor class consisting of approximately 175 students.
Vanderbilt offers the elements of an exceptional legal education that can be found across all elite law schools. There are a few specific features unique to Vanderbilt Law that position students and alumni for lifelong professional success and fulfillment.
Vor 2 Tagen · This summer, 73 Vanderbilt Law students are working for legal employers in 14 states, Washington, D.C., and for legal nonprofits in London, U.K., The Hague, Netherlands, and Valletta, Malta. The students receive stipend support to help defray their living expenses or earn course credit for their unpaid legal work with a variety of government and nonprofit legal employers.
