The 2026 Winter Olympics (Italian: Olimpiadi invernali del 2026), officially the XXV Olympic Winter Games (Italian: XXV Giochi olimpici invernali) and also known as Milano Cortina 2026, is an upcoming international multi-sport event scheduled to take place from 6 to 22 February 2026 in the Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo.
Seit 1896 finden alle vier Jahre Olympische Spiele und seit 1924 Olympische Winterspiele statt. Seit 1994 alternieren Winter- und Sommerspiele im zweijährigen Rhythmus. Eine Ausnahme bilden die 32. Olympischen Sommerspiele in Tokio.
Die XXV. Olympischen Winterspiele sollen vom 6. bis zum 22. Februar 2026 in Mailand und Cortina d’Ampezzo stattfinden. Die Gastgeberstädte wurden am 24. Juni 2019 in Lausanne ausgewählt.
