  2. The school currently offers undergraduate and graduate classes and degrees in electrical engineering, chemical engineering, computer science, applied physics, environmental engineering, biomedical engineering, and mechanical engineering and materials science.

  3. Yale offers three degrees within the School of Engineering & Applied Science. ABET-Accredited Bachelor of Science* This is the most structured and demanding engineering degree program.

The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering offers undergraduate and graduate educational programs and research opportunities in three of the field's broadest areas: Microelectronics, Photonics and Nanotechnology; Computers, Sensors, and Networking; and Signal & Image Processing, Communications and Control.

März 2024 · Our Engineering program builds on a strong and broad foundation of related sciences and has been successfully developing emerging technologies, while being interdisciplinary and flexible. Graduate students develop their own course of study and research in consulation with faculty.

  6. Admission to our graduate programs is open to students with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree or its equivalent in any field of engineering or in related areas (physics, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, and materials science).

  7. Like any other outstanding college engineering program, Yale teaches students the principles of math and science, modern software tools, and how to design devices and systems. With most of our faculty being involved in cutting-edge research, many opportunities exist for students to participate.
