Hi u/picachu11 -. You wallet is only as safe as the device you hold it on. The biggest risk is the person sitting at the keyboard. Because Exodus is a non-custodial wallet, there's nothing to bypass on our end. We do not keep information about your assets on any servers.
Re-using an address isn't really less safe - it's just a little less private. Someone seeing your public address (receive address) is totally safe and doesn't give them any advantages to gain access to your wallet. However, hot wallets are often more easy to access by the end user to send transactions, for example. For a hot wallet I would definitely recommend Exodus.
