COVID-19 can be severe, and has caused millions of deaths around the world as well as lasting health problems in some who have survived the illness. The coronavirus can be spread from person to person. It is diagnosed with a test.
COVID 19 Daily Report. This table provides a daily update from Johns Hopkins Medicine care facilities about the number of patients who test positive for COVID-19 and the number of patients hospitalized for COVID-19 in our hospitals. The majority of patients who test positive recover at home and do not require hospitalization.
Current Status. As of March 28. At this time: Johns Hopkins University has recently changed its COVID-19 vaccination policy. The university strongly recommends that all students, staff, and faculty receive at least one dose of any FDA- or WHO-authorized vaccine. More information.
