A forty-something middle-class couple arrive in the countryside in an old family house to resell it. They settle there for a while in order to refresh it and get the best price. But very quickly the woman, Claire, appears disturbed, affirming that a foreign presence in the house seeks to terrify her. Benoît ignores his fears.
