Eugene Willford "Gene" Markey (December 11, 1895 – May 1, 1980) was an American writer, producer, screenwriter, and highly decorated naval officer.
Gene Markey was a writer and producer of films such as You're the One, On the Avenue and The Hound of the Baskervilles. He was married four times, including to Myrna Loy and Hedy Lamarr, and owned a famous horse farm in Kentucky.
