Jerome Moross (August 1, 1913 – July 25, 1983) was an American composer best known for his music for film and television. He also composed works for symphony orchestras, chamber ensembles, soloists and musical theater, as well as orchestrating scores for other composers.
JEROME MOROSS’s career encompasses four spheres, Broadway, Hollywood, the Dance world and the concert hall. He is best known to some audiences as the composer of the Academy Award-nominated score for William Wyler’s epic western, The Big Country (1958).
