14. Juni 2023 · Die Bundesregierung hat eine Nationale Sicherheitsstrategie beschlossen, um die Sicherheit Deutschlands und seiner Bürgerinnen und Bürger zu gewährleisten. Die Strategie umfasst drei zentrale Dimensionen: Wehrhaftigkeit, Resilienz und Nachhaltigkeit, und begründet eine Politik der Integrierten Sicherheit.
Originally conceived as protection against military attack, national security is widely understood to include also non-military dimensions, such as the security from terrorism, minimization of crime, economic security, energy security, environmental security, food security, and cyber-security.
The Federal Cabinet adopted a comprehensive and systematic approach to address the changed security policy environment and protect Germany and its citizens. The strategy covers all aspects of security, from diplomacy and defence to resilience and sustainability, and aims to cooperate with partners at the European and transatlantic level.
