Johannes Sigfrid Edström (* 21. November 1870 in Morlanda; † 18. März 1964 in Stockholm) war ein schwedischer Unternehmer und Sportfunktionär. Johannes Sigfrid Edström (11 November 1870 – 18 March 1964) was a Swedish industrialist, chairman of the Sweden-America Foundation, and 4th President of the International Olympic Committee.
1946: J. Sigfrid Edström, fourth IOC President. Johannes Sigfrid Edström had a relatively short but important reign as the fourth President of the IOC. For the Olympic Games 1912, Edström was Director and Vice-President of the Organising Committee and a member of the stadium building committee.
When IOC president Henri de Baillet-Latour died in 1942, Swedish industrialist Sigfrid Edström took over as the acting president until the end of World War II, when he was formally elected IOC president. He played an important role in reviving the Olympic Movement after the war.
