( italienisch Monumento nazionale a Vittorio Emanuele II ), umgangssprachlich auch Vittoriano oder Altare della Patria („Altar des Vaterlandes“) genannt, ist ein Nationaldenkmal in Rom, das zu Ehren Viktor Emanuels II., des ersten Königs des vereinigten Italien, errichtet wurde.

11. Juni 2018 · Victor Emmanuel (born 14 March 1820) took the throne of the Kingdom of Piedmont-Sardinia at age twenty-eight. He succeeded his father, Charles Albert (r. 1831–1849), who abdicated after the Austrians defeated Piedmontese forces at the Battle of Novara in 1849.
