Where do you find this code in the game? I've played a while now, and started several times and have never found any clue to the combintation. Pretty lame if you are supposed to "luck" into entering it on accident.

As razor said it is 2919 which I posted on the wiki for hideout 1. I changed the code to return the lock combinations on failure. As far as I know this has been the only static one I have found so far, the wolf's two chest are randomly generated and have some very high quality loot. http://darkwood.wikia.com/wiki/Hideout_1.
Their is a door behind the dresser. Move it by walking into it. Then open the door, that should allow you to progress and figure out the code. Heres the code anyways. 4892 until it gets change in the future.
You can find the code for the eastern door (Silent Forest enterance) in the same building the door is located. You need to go there with at least two molotov cocktails. Burn the bugs on the floor and proceed to loot the building. You'll find a note with the code.
