Noch heute gibt es eine starke walisische Studentengruppe. 1907 erhielt der als „Lawrence von Arabien“ bekannte britische Archäologe und Schriftsteller T. E. Lawrence ein Stipendium für das Jesus
Zu den bekannten Absolventen des Colleges zählen: Samuel Taylor Coleridge (1772–1834), Dichter, Kritiker und Philosoph, studierte ab 1791 am Jesus College; Thomas Robert Malthus (1766–1834), Ökonom, studierte ab 1784 am Jesus College und erhielt 1788 einen Abschluss in Mathematik
During its 450-year history, Jesus College has seen many former students, Fellows and Principals go on to excel in their chosen field. Amongst our Old Members are heads of state, Nobel Prize winners, internationally renowned authors and ground-breaking scientists.
Jesus College (in full: Jesus College in the University of Oxford of Queen Elizabeth's Foundation) is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford in England. It is in the centre of the city, on a site between Turl Street, Ship Street, Cornmarket Street and Market Street.
Three members of Jesus College have received a Nobel Prize. Two fellows of the college have been appointed to the International Court of Justice. Sonita Alleyne was elected master of Jesus College in 2019, 40 years after the college began admitting women as students. She is also the first black leader of an Oxbridge college.
