There are plenty of good restaurants, pubs, cafes, wine bars all in walking distance (we stayed on Lauderdale Road), and the Maida Vale tube station is your key to getting anywhere you need to be in the city. We walked everywhere, both during the day and in the evenings, and felt totally safe.
Maida Vale is an affluent area with some fabulous houses and gardens on the tree lined avenues around Little Venice. This is the City of Westminster at it’s very best with added trees and gardens. It is very impressive, even the bridges are attractive.
