Vasile Blaga (n. 26 iulie 1956, Petrileni, Rieni, Bihor, România) este un politician român, președinte al Partidului Democrat Liberal din 30 iunie 2012 până în noiembrie 2014, președinte al Senatului României din 29 noiembrie 2011 până în 3 iulie 2012.

He also served as Minister of Regional Development and Housing and twice as Minister of Administration and Internal Affairs.

Vasile Blaga ist ein rumänischer Politiker, Vorsitzender der Demokratisch-Liberalen Partei, von 2004 bis 2007 Verwaltungs- und Innenminister in der Regierung Tăriceanu, von 2008 bis 2009 Minister für Regionale Entwicklung im Kabinett Boc I, von 2009 bis 2010 Innenminister im Kabinett Boc II, von 2011 bis 2012 Präsident des rumänischen Senats.
Vasile Blaga was born in Petrileni, Bihor County, in Romania. He studied mechanics at the Polytechnic Institute in Timisoara from 1981 and was an engineer in various companies until 1990 reaching his highest position as Commercial Manager at the Mechanical Factory Hiperion in Stei, Bihor County.
