Herzen University is one the oldest institutions of higher education in Russia. Russia has its own style of economic development. I want to find out what is so special about the economic life in Russia. I was lucky to study in St. Petersburg at Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia. I met serious and responsible teachers.
The Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia (Herzen University) is one of the oldest teacher-training institution in Russia. It was founded on 2 (14) May 1797 by Emperor Paul I as St. Petersburg Educational House, and later lay the foundations for other pedagogical institutions in the XIX – early XX centuries.
1806. In 1806, the pioneer College for the Deaf was founded as part of the Foundling House.
