  1. Ancram is a town in Columbia County, New York, United States. The population was 1,440 at the 2020 census, [better source needed] down from 1,573 at the 2010 census. The town was named after Ancram (now Ancrum), Scotland. Ancram is in the southeastern corner of the county.
