William A. "Bill" Halter (born 1960) is a Democratic politician and the former Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas. In that role, he also served as president of the Arkansas State Senate. He assumed office on January 9, 2007, succeeding the late Republican Winthrop Paul Rockefeller.
