Sir Hormasji Pherozeshah Mody KBE (23 September 1881 – 9 March 1969), generally known as Sir Homi Mody was a noted Parsi businessman associated with Tata Group and an administrator of India. [1] He started his career as a lawyer at Mumbai and in 1913 became chairman of Bombay Municipal Corporation.

A member of the Parsi community Piloo Mody was one of the sons of Sir Homi Mody. He was educated at The Doon School, Dehradun. [1] [2] After School he attended Sir J. J. College of Architecture and the University of California, Berkeley, from where he graduated with a master's degree in architecture.
