—John Lasseter. John Lasseter is one of the three founding fathers of Pixar Animation Studios. An animator, director, producer, and writer, Lasseter was responsible for most of Pixar's success and oversaw all of the studio's projects. He was the chief creative officer of both Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar until the end of 2018.
John Alan Lasseter (born January 12, 1957) is an American animator, movie director and the former chief creative officer at Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios. He was also the Principal Creative Advisor for Walt Disney Imagineering. Lasseter bought Pixar from the late Steve Jobs.
