Otto Hahn ist ein deutscher Chemiker und Atomforscher, der 1944 für die Entdeckung der Kernspaltung des Urans den Nobelpreis für Chemie erhält. Hahn ist Professor in Berlin und erforscht zusammen mit der Physikerin Lise Meitner in den 1930er Jahren die Entstehung von Transuranen (radioaktive Metalle, die schwerer als Uran sind).
