The 100 Club Punk Special (sometimes referred to as the 100 Club Punk Festival) was a two-day event held at the 100 Club venue in Oxford Street, London, England on 20 and 21 September 1976. The gig showcased eight punk rock bands, most of which were unsigned.
On Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st September 1976 it was host to the first ever Punk festival. On the 100 Club stage the Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Damned, Siouxsie & The Banshees, the Buzzcocks, the Vibrators and Subway Sect were seen for the first time in London. All of them were unsigned.
