1968 is the fifth 12-inch studio album by French singer France Gall, released in January 1968 on Philips Records. Released during the decline of the yé-yé era, the album features a psychedelic sound influenced by the Beatles ' Revolver and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band .
France Gall gratuliert Udo Jürgens in Luxemburg zum Sieg beim Grand Prix Eurovision de la Chanson Européenne 1966. France Gall nahm von 1966 bis 1972 in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland auf Deutsch gesungene Schallplatten auf. Für Zwei Apfelsinen im Haar (deutsche Version von A Banda) erhielt sie 1968 eine Goldene Schallplatte.

Isabelle Geneviève Marie Anne Gall (9 October 1947 – 7 January 2018), known professionally as France Gall, was a French yé-yé singer. In 1965, at the age of 17, she won the tenth edition of the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Poupée de cire, poupée de son", representing Luxembourg.
