  7. Curriculum. Abingdons academic curriculum is founded on well established principles of breadth and challenge. Our pupils study a broad range of subjects up to 3rd year (Year 9) and then follow a core of 6 or 7 GCSEs combined with 3 or 4 optional subjects, making a total of 10 GCSEs for most pupils.
