He established his reputation as a writer on various magazines before finding employment in the movie industry.

Robert Adrian Scott (* 6. Februar 1911 in Arlington, New Jersey; † 25. Dezember 1972 in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, Kalifornien) war ein US-amerikanischer Drehbuchautor und Filmproduzent, der zu den sogenannten Hollywood Ten gehörte.
Adrian Scott was a filmmaker who helped create the genre of film noir and was one of the Hollywood 10 who refused to testify before HUAC. He produced Crossfire, the first Hollywood film to deal with anti-semitism, and was blacklisted from the industry for his political beliefs.
