Alexander Wienerberger (født 8. desember 1891 i Wien, død 5. januar 1955 i Salzburg) var en østerriksk kjemiingeniør som arbeidet i 19 år for kjemiske selskap i Sovjetunionen. Mens han arbeidet i Kharkiv tok han en serie fotografier av ofre for hungersnød i årene 1932–1933 (i ettertiden kjent som Holodomor ), som er fotografiske bevis på det som skjedde.

He was taken prisoner in 1915 and stayed in Russia after the war, where he spend 19 years until 1934. He was a chemical engineer specializing in explosives, and he built a chemical laboratory.

Durante su trabajo en Jarkov , creó una serie de fotografías del Holodomor en 1932-1933, que proporcionan evidencia fotográfica del hambre masiva del pueblo ucraniano en ese momento.
