Programs and Initiatives. American Graduate. The public media initiative American Graduate was launched in 2011 to help young people stay on a path to a high school diploma and has since evolved into explaining career pathways for students exploring all types of postsecondary education and employment.
Hosted by Soledad O'Brien, American Graduate Day will feature leading education, media and celebrity figures who will highlight the role of mentoring to help close the graduation gap, share inspirational stories from across the nation, and encourage others to connect with students as a mentor.
