The album was originally released in 2000 as a "souvenir CD concert programme," provided to tie in with Cope's 2000 live concert tour. In 2000, Cope released another solo album – An Audience with the Cope. While appearing to be pitched as a retrospective live recording, it consisted of a series of newly written psychedelic studio jams.
