Two nights after the September 16 & 17th Carnegie Hall Blue Note performances, Lena performed the same show at a more intimate venue -- New York's Supper Club -- on September 19, 1994 and accompanied by the Count Basie Orchestra directed by Frank Foster.
Horne, meanwhile, had moved her show to The Cocoanut Grove in Hollywood in June, where she recorded a live EP, Lena Horne at the Cocoanut Grove, and announced that she was leaving nightclub work temporarily.
