Anatol Rapoport ( Lozovaja, Rusland, 22 mei 1911 - Toronto, Canada, 20 januari 2007) was een Joods - Amerikaanse wiskundige die onder andere bekend is geworden door zijn werk op het gebied van de speltheorie en het prisoner's dilemma. Geboren in Rusland kwam hij in 1922 in de Verenigde Staten wonen. In 1928 werd hij genaturaliseerd tot Amerikaan.
In 1954 Anatol Rapoport co-founded the Society for General Systems Research, along with the researchers Ludwig von Bertalanffy, Ralph Gerard, and Kenneth Boulding.
