Andrea Heukamp. Guitarist and backing vocalist in the House of Love. She left the band in 1988, returned to her native Germany soon after the recording of Christine, rejoined the band briefly in 1991.
Zusammen mit seinem Freund, dem Schlagzeuger Pete Evans, suchte er weitere Musiker per Anzeige im Melody Maker und fand den Gitarristen Terry Bickers, den neuseeländischen Bassisten Chris Groothuizen und die deutsche Sängerin und Gitarristin Andrea Heukamp. Sie machten sich bald als Liveband in ihrer Heimat einen Namen.

As with Babe Rainbow, Andrea Heukamp made a guest appearance (this time, only on backing vocals). The band laid plans to record their fifth album later in the year, following a tour of France. However, on their return to London Pete Evans announced to the band that he wanted to retire from the music business.
Andrea Heukamp featured heavily on this album before leaving the band as we started recording the first studio album, although she did sing on Christine. Her singing on The Hill is just sublime.
