  1. Young served as ambassador to the U.N. from 1977 to 1979. He led with moral clarity and was a champion for the under-served all over the world. Today, Ambassador Young continues to build his legacy as a servant leader in the world through the Andrew J. Young Foundation which supports education, health, and leadership development in the U.S., Africa, and the Caribbean.
