Andy Rourke, the bassist for rock band The Smiths, has died after a lengthy illness with pancreatic cancer, according to guitarist Johnny Marr. Rourke played on the group's most famous songs, as well as collaborating with other artists such as Morrissey, Suede and Badly Drawn Boy.
