Anne Gwynne (born Marguerite Gwynne Trice; December 10, 1918 [citation needed] – March 31, 2003) was an American actress who was known as one of the first scream queens because of her numerous appearances in horror films. Gwynne was also one of the most popular pin-ups of World War II.
Anne Gwynne (1918-2003) was a slender, strikingly beautiful strawberry blonde who starred in horror films, westerns, film noir and musical comedies. She also appeared in TV shows, commercials and was a WWII pin-up and a mother of actor Chris Pine.

Over the next years, Miss Gwynne would be featured in some thirty-eight Universal films, and become one of the studio’s most recognizable stars.
