  4. East 17 galt unter den typischen 90er Boybands als die „bösen Buben“. Die Band wurde 1992 von Tony Mortimer mit Brian Harvey, John Hendy und Terry Coldwell gegründet. Der Name der Band setzt sich aus ihrem Herkunftsort und der Postleitzahl von Walthamstow zusammen.
