Over the years, the Freshmen have recorded 50 albums and received six Grammy nominations.
26. Dez. 2018 · Obituary. December 26, 2018 1. William Austin “Autie” Goodman passed away peacefully in his sleep Dec. 20 in Las Vegas, Nev. Autie was born in Burns in 1925. When he was about 12 years old, he heard world-renowned Artie Shaw play the clarinet and told his dad that’s what he wanted to do.

Jan. 2019 · After moving to Las Vegas in 1956, he quickly made a name for himself performing at the Strip’s casinos, playing with a group called the Modernaires before joining the long-running touring group the Four Freshmen in 1977. Goodman, who retired to Pahrump, died in his sleep on Dec. 20. He was 93.

Goodman was a musician and vocalist with The Four Freshmen, the original group dating back to 1948 and known for performing jazz, and classic pop in the style of a barbershop quartet.
