Max and Conan had a great dynamic, but I think Max‘s pursuits outside of Conan‘s show were always respected. He’s a drummer first and foremost and we’re all lucky he let Conan strap squibs on him for violent bits out of nowhere. I think we don’t hear much about Max because he’s in his seventies. His kids are grown up.

Max Weinberg is a legendary Bruce Springsteen’s drummer who plays for the E Street band. He is also a band leader for The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien’s band. Max Weinberg’s love for music was fostered early on when he attended Broadway shows every week.
