On the road to Balmora from Seyda Neen, about halfway between Balmora and Pelagiad, you will find Maurrie Aurmine. She tells you she was robbed by a handsome man by the name of Nelos Onmar. She asks you to deliver one of her glovesto him in Pelagiad as a token of her love.
The Bandit
Nelos may be found at the Halfway Tavern up the hill in Pelagiad. He seems touched by the news and gives you a note to deliver back to Maurrie. If you return to Maurrie she will be overjoyed and will actually attempt to set you up with someone else. If you are male, it will be Emusette Bracques at the Plot and Plaster in Tel Aruhn, or if you are female it will be Barnand Erelie at Sethan's Tradehouse in Tel Branora. Maurrie incorrectly states that Pelagiad is to the north, when in fact, it is to the south.Killing Maurrie or Nelos before Maurrie receives note from Nelos makes quest unfinishable. Also killing Emusette or Barnand before finishing quest makes quest unfinishable.After talking to Barnand/Emusette, Maurrie and Nelos will disappear.If Maurrie and Nelos are alive after quest, folks in Pelagiad will tell from topic "Maurrie and Nelos";The following Quest_ID and Index codes can be used with the JournalConsole command to manually update the quest to a certain point.
