During the summers the members of BAO meet up and rehearse, and then go out on mini-tours, to which tickets are highly sought after. The concept of these tours are "a concert with dance", so a dance floor is brought along. Körberg and Sjöholm together perform the vocals for the non-instrumental songs.

After two studio albums, Benny Anderssons Orkester, current group of former ABBA member Benny Andersson, released its first live album in May 2006. Recording for the album took place during the group's summer tour the previous year in the towns of Örebro and Leksand.

18. Aug. 2019 · BAO on tour. After three years it was time for Benny Andersson’s Orchestra, together with Helen Sjöholm and Tommy Körberg, to get out on the Swedish roads again. During 8 evenings in 2019 the audience was invited to dance at scenic venues.
Benny Anderssons Orkester, bekannt auch unter der Abkürzung BAO, ist eine schwedische Musikgruppe, die seit 2001 existiert. Sie besteht aus 16 Mitgliedern. Der Bandleader der Gruppe ist Benny Andersson, der Mitglied der Popgruppe ABBA ist.
We reported earlier this year that Benny had been working with BAO plus Helen Sjöholm and Tommy Körberg on new music and that it was hoped that a new album would be released this autumn. We can update the story now to say that any release of the new music will now be in 2024 and probably in the spring. Thank you Benny for updating us.
