Agreed, I like the idea of young him being really cheerful and hopeful about the idea of being a superhero and trying to merge the world's of Atlantis and the surface but overtime, the burden of being a leader weighing on him, and his faith in humanity dwindling, turning him into almost an Anti-Hero who can help the heroes but also be their worst enemy if they slightly pose a threat to his home.
