Vor 17 Stunden · Ein alter englischer Name für den Mond im Wonnemonat lautet "Milk Moon" (auf Deutsch: Milchmond). Eine Erklärung für diesen Beinamen liefert der englische Mönch Beda Venerabilis. Er schrieb 703 n.Chr., dass man den Mai früher als "Dreimilchmonat" bezeichnete, weil man in diesem Monat die Kühe angeblich dreimal täglich melken musste.
