BSMU is a century-old institution of higher medical education with international recognition and cooperation. It offers various faculties and programs for students, postgraduates and residents in Russian and English.
Belarusian State Medical University is a leading institution of higher medical education in the Republic of Belarus with a well-deserved international prestige and recognition. The beginning of its history dates back to 1921 when the opening of Belarusian State University was announced, which at that time included Medical Faculty.
In 2022 Belarusian State Medical University received the status of accredited educational institution according to the standards of the World Federation for Medical Education. The specialties “General Medicine”, “Dentistry” and “Pharmacy” have been also accredited according to the WFME standards.

Itshistory dates back to 1921, when a Medical Faculty was created on the basis of Belarusian State University.
