Vor 5 Tagen · Bernard Hill was born on 17 December 1944 in the Blackley district of Manchester. His father had served in the Royal Navy during the Second World War, but had gone down the local coal mine after being discharged, while his mother worked in the kitchens at the nearby ICI plant. As money was tight, Bernard slept in the same bed as his parents at his grandmother's two-bedroomed flat.
