Learn from one of LA’s oldest and most respected acting schools, founded by the legendary Milton Katselas and run by his student, director/playwright Allen Barton. The BHP offers ongoing scene-study classes for both professional and aspiring actors at all levels, with a unique and practical approach to Acting, Attitude, and Career Administration.
Since then, BHP/SF has grown into one of the strongest programs in the Bay Area and created one of the most diverse student bodies anywhere in the world. Located one block off Union Square, scene study classes are now offered Monday through Thursday evenings.
The BHP is well known for Milton Katselas' unique approach, which addresses Acting, Attitude, and Career Administration. The Beverly Hills Playhouse of San Francisco offers ongoing intensive scene-study classes for professional actors in the Bay Area.

A Brief History. The Beverly Hills Playhouse Acting School has been in its current location on Robertson Blvd. in Beverly Hills since 1978, though its founder Milton Katselas began his teaching career in the 1960s in New York City, and continued in Los Angeles for several years before settling at our current headquarters building.
