William Stephen Wright (7 July 1960 – 27 December 1997), known as King Rat, was a Northern Irish loyalist paramilitary leader who founded the Loyalist Volunteer Force (LVF) during The Troubles. [2] Wright had joined the Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) in his home town of Portadown around 1975.

Billy Wright was the first player to win 100 caps for England and the captain of Wolverhampton Wanderers. He played as a centre-half for both club and country, despite being only 5ft 8inches tall. He led Wolves to the FA Cup final in 1949 and won three league titles in the 1950s. He died in 1994.
